Working Principle
The Vertical Mushroom Bag Filling Machine adopts a vertical structure and precision mechanical control system to complete the substrate bagging process efficiently.
Substrate Feeding
Prepared mushroom substrate is delivered into the feeding system. The machine controls the material flow to ensure continuous and stable filling.
Quantitative Filling
The substrate is accurately loaded into cultivation bags according to the preset filling volume. The controlled feeding process reduces material waste and keeps the weight difference between bags within 50 g.
Compression and Bag Shaping
After filling, the machine performs compression and bag holding operations. The pressing system compacts the substrate evenly, creating a firm and uniform mushroom block shape that improves subsequent incubation and fruiting performance.
Automatic Hole Punching Function
The machine can complete automatic punching of six holes on mushroom bags during the forming process. These ventilation holes improve air exchange inside the substrate block and provide better conditions for mycelium growth.
Bag Output
Finished mushroom bags are released after forming and can be transferred manually or connected with a conveyor system for further processing.
Suitable Materials and Mushroom Applications
Suitable Substrate Materials
It is suitable for commercial cultivation of:
- Shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes)
- Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)
- Other bag-grown edible fungi
The square bag forming design is especially suitable for mushroom farms requiring larger cultivation blocks and stable bag shapes.
Capacity, Production Scale and Automation Level
With a production capacity of 800-1000 bags per hour, the Vertical Mushroom Bag Filling Machine is suitable for small and medium-scale mushroom production factories.
The machine integrates several key processes:
- Automatic substrate feeding
- Automatic filling
- Substrate compression
- Bag forming
- Automatic hole punching
Compared with traditional manual bag preparation, this equipment improves production efficiency and ensures consistent substrate density. It reduces repetitive labor operations while improving the standardization of mushroom cultivation bags.
Although the machine requires 4-5 operators for bag handling and production coordination, the main filling and forming processes are mechanically controlled, making it suitable for mushroom farms transitioning from manual production to semi-automated operations.
Integration with Mushroom Production Lines
