Mushroom Growing Solutions
Enoki Mushroom Growing Solution
Enoki mushroom (Flammulina filiformis) is a globally popular edible mushroom, recognized for its long crisp stipe and delicate flavor. Our solution supports industrial bottle cultivation through substrate preparation, standardized production processes, dedicated filling equipment, and low-temperature environmental control.
From individual machines to integrated production lines, equipment configurations can be tailored to project capacity, facility layout, and production requirements.
Industrial Cultivation
Build an Efficient Enoki Mushroom Production System
Commercial enoki mushroom production requires consistent substrate preparation, accurate filling, reliable sterilization, controlled incubation, and a stable growing environment.
An integrated production solution helps coordinate these stages, improve process consistency, and make better use of production space.

Market & Benefits
Why Grow Enoki Mushrooms?
Stable Year-round Global Demand
No obvious seasonal fluctuation and steady bulk orders from food processing industries.
Highly Standardized Bottle Cultivation
Automated lines deliver highly uniform growth, easy quality control and low labor intensity.
High and Predictable Conversion
Mature bottle-cultivation delivers a stable biological conversion rate over 100%.
Low-temperature Fruiting
Low-temperature fruiting (5–8°C) suppresses competing pathogens and enables reliable off-season production.
Diversified Downstream
Fresh packing, canning, blanched frozen and ready-to-eat lines.

|
Container |
PP cultivation bottles (750ml / 1100ml) |
Bottle cultivation is the global industry standard |
|
Baseline |
Moisture 60–65%; pH 6.0–7.0 after sterilization |
Firm clump when squeezed, breaks apart when dropped |
|
Temperature |
Incubation 24–26°C (typically 24°C); primordia 10–12°C; fruiting 5–8°C |
True low-temperature fruiting species; cold chain determines morphology |
|
Humidity |
Incubation 60–70%; primordia 90–95%; fruiting 85–90% |
High humidity for primordia; lower humidity reduces disease |
|
CO₂ |
Incubation 3000–5000ppm; fruiting 2000–4000ppm |
Moderately high CO₂ elongates stipe and suppresses pileus expansion |
|
Air exchange |
Incubation 2–4 changes/h; fruiting 4–8 changes/h |
Avoid direct airflow on mushrooms |
|
Light |
Incubation dark; primordia 50–100lux; fruiting 100–200lux |
Photophobic; minimal light for primordia induction |
Growing Method & Process
How to Grow Enoki Mushroom in Bottles
Front-end (raw prep, mixing, bottling, sterilization, cooling, inoculation) follows standard industrial protocols. Enoki-specific stages:
Incubation
25–30 days, dark, 24–26°C, until full colonization.
Scratching & primordia:
Scrape top substrate; shift to 10–12°C, 90–95% RH, weak light.
Fruiting
Maintain 5–8°C and elevated CO₂ to shape long slender stipes and small caps; use paper collars.
Harvest
At 13–15cm stipe length, before pileus expansion. Typically one single flush for top quality.
Processing
Cut bases, grade by weight/size, pack fresh or canned/frozen.
Growing Environment
Climite & Environmental Control for Consistent Growth
Core is precision low-temperature control and CO₂-mediated morphology:
warm dark incubation → rapid cool-down → stable low-temperature fruiting. PLC controls refrigeration, humidification and ventilation at ±0.5°C. Positive-pressure clean airflow minimizes contamination.

Growing Room Design
Zoned layout
Zoned layout: raw prep → bottling → sterilization → cooling/inoculation → incubation → fruiting → packing.
Incubation and fruiting rooms
Incubation rooms use insulated panels, 6–8 tier racks, top-supply bottom-return ventilation and full dark. Fruiting rooms need heavy low-temperature insulation, waterproof flooring and laminar airflow. Containerized fruiting units available for small trials.

Troubleshooting
Common Problems & Solutions
Large pileus, short stipe
→ low CO₂ / too much light / high temp → reduce ventilation to 2000–4000ppm, lower light, stabilize 5–8°C.
Uneven primordia
→ immature mycelium / inconsistent scratching / poor cooling → extend post-ripening, standardize scratching depth.
Yellowing stipes
→ excess humidity / condensation → reduce RH to ~85%, timed ventilation, no direct misting.
